SD50 708, scene here at Neosho, MO on 8 December 1992, was built in May of 1981. The six-axle freight hauler was introduced to the grey scheme in the early 90's and also received the Operation Lifesaver lettering. The loco was one of three SD50s (704, 708 and 713) to carry the Operation Lifesaver emblem. The EMD was still in service as of 2014. (Chuck Zeiler photo)
