VIA 6763 Disposition: VLIX 6763

FPA4 6763 has carried more than its share of reporting marks. Beyond CN's "wet noodle" and the VIA's bi-lingual red logo, the four-axle castoff has worn the identifying marks of NCRY (North Central Rwy), NAUG (Naugutucket Rwy Museum), DRMX (Danbury Rwy Museum) and VLIX (Vintage Locomotives Inc.) A number of rumors have circulated regarding the locos future, but the passenger-hauling veteran has sat idle for extended periods in a number of different railroad yards. This Paul Wester photo was taken in Scranton, PA on 24 July 2003.
