To mark the 200th Anniversary of the U.S. in 1976, AtSF custom-painted four SD45-2s in beautiful
red/whit/blue Bi-Centennial scheme. Built in June 1973, the 5704 was restored during spring 2022.

Milwaukee Road "Bicentennial" #156 -- Just in time for the country's semi-quincentennial celebration.

Transportation Museum to participate in the 250th Anniversary celebration in Spencer, North
Carolina during late August 2026.
